Fisher Island is a private island/luxury residential community. Some famous people own or rent property here, including the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, Gloria Estefan, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.
Naturally, if you are not invited, you are not allowed there. And the local police can usually be seen roaming around on their golf carts. However, if you carry yourself with confidence you might want spend a few hours on this pleasant and mostly empty beach with your presence going unnoticed. You might even want to take a rinse on one of the private jacuzzies facing the ocean, a freshwater rinse in a pool, or just go for a walk; the island is very pretty.
