This is a no frills place to launch your kayak on the beautiful Northwest River. There is room for 2 vehicles to park on the swampy gravel with traffic whizzing by on the sometimes surprisingly busy Indian Creek Road.
Going to the left (down river) is the best option, if you explore to the right and portage/limbo paddle the low bridge you will find that there isn't that much river to paddle. You will see recreational fishing boats, but this river is definitely a wonderful paddle. Wind can be an issue here as some portions of the river are wider than you may expect.
There are crabs here, so I assume the water is salty and bring water.
