Night Cat Tent

4 stars

As far as tents go, there are definitely better tents than this one. It could use a few more inside pockets, the poles could be a little sturdier and not snap after a few months of use, and a few more hooks to hold back the door flaps and rainfly would have been welcome.

But in terms of price vs value for money, the Night Cat Tent is unbeatable. It costs less than $100.

For that low price, I would be perfectly happy to overlook any imperfections, and just buy another tent at the end of a trip.

The tent floor is 100% waterproof and the rainfly easily keeps the sleeping area completely dry, and when set up with the guidelines it will withstand even in a gale. The Night Cat Tent is just as good as any MSR tent, but less than half the price.

The video below from Mac Outdoors gives a good overview of the tent. The tent floor used in the video is not needed, in my opinion.
