I like the Skwoosh Bilge Sponge. it absorbs a lot of water very quickly, and is fairly easy to clean. I keep one of these inside every hatch in the kayak to mop up any leaks through the hatches, and they do the job. They also make a nice birthday present for a fellow kayaker that won't break your budget, and they will definitely use.
