Spice Creek Paddle-in Campsite

Updated: May 16, 2023

Spice Creek Campsite

Spice Creek is an awesome place to camp. It is quiet, pretty and easy to access. Being paddle-in only and part of the Patuxent River Park camp site reservation system you or your group should be the only paddlers there.

Be aware that winds, tides, and river currents are all forces you will deal with on the Patuxent River as you paddle to the Spice Creek site.

You can reserve the site for $20/night if you are a county resident and $26/night if not. The campsite will have a picnic table, fire ring, and a port-a-john - There is NO Drinking Water, because you are on a tidal system, bring your water with you.
